REPERTOIRE
5 Arien freier Wahl aus Opern des 17./ 18. und 19. Jahrhunderts (bevorzugt Verdi, Puccini, Rossini, Donizetti, Mozart, Gounod, Bellini etc.).

5 arias free of choice from operas of the 17th, 18th and 19th century (Verdi, Puccini, Mozart,Rossini,Donizetti,Bellini,Händel,Leoncavallo and other composers of this period.)

It is obligated to announce the aria of the first round with the application.
The repertoire of the other rounds doesnt need to be announced till the competition.

Please announce in the application form only your aria of the first round.

PROBEN
12. Februar: Proben für alle Anmeldungen nach dem 1.12.2023
13. und 14. Februar: Proben (nicht verpflichtend), max. 1 Stück 5-10 min)

RUNDEN
13. Februar: 1. Runde für alle Anmeldungen nach dem 1.12.2023
14. und 15. Februar: 1. Runde / 1 Arie
16. Februar 2. Runde (Semifinale) / 1-2 Arien (von der Jury gewählt)
17. Februar Finale - 1-2 Arien (von der Jury gewählt)
Das Preisträgerkonzert mit Orchester findet in der Großen Aula Salzburg statt. (neben Salzburger Festspielhaus)
Der Termin wird Ende Dezember veröffentlicht.

Die ersten 100 Anmeldungen werden für den 15.2 (1. Runde) bzw 14.2 (Probe) eingeteilt
Die Probe ist nicht verpflichtend.
Es kann ein eigener Pianist mitgebracht werden.
Ein genauer Zeitplan der Runden wird den Kandidaten bis 1.2. mitgeteilt.

13./14. february: rehearsals ( not obligated) max. 1 aria 5-10 min) for applications till 1.12.2023

AUDITION ROUNDS
13. february: 1. round (for all applications after 1.12.2023)
14. and 15. february: 1. round / 1 Aria
16. february: 2. round (Semifinale) / 1-2 Arien (chosen by the jury)
17. february: Finale - 1-2 arias chosen by the jury

The rehearsal is not obligate.
You can bring your own pianist.
The prize winner concert will take place with orchestra in Salzburg Große Aula (date will be announced in December)
Exact schedule will be sent till 1.2.

RULES / REGLEMENT
Teilnehmen können Sängerinnen und Sänger ohne Alterslimit. Die Vergabe der Preise erfolgt durch die Jury. Deren
Entscheidungen sind unanfechtbar. Alle Runden sind offen für Agenten, Intendanten, Produzenten etc. nach Voranmeldung. The competition is open to all singers without age limit. The decision of the jury is incontestable. All rounds are open for producers, directors, agencies after application. The Prize winner concert is in public.

ORGANISATION
Der Veranstalter stellt für die Runden und das Finale Klavierbegleiter kostenlos zur Verfügung.
Es kann ein egener Pianist gebracht werden.
Reise- und Übernachtungskosten werden nicht erstattet.
Kleidung: Abendgarderobe für das Finale.
There will be pianists for all the competition rounds.
It is allowed to bring your own pianist.
No travel or hotel costs will be payed or refunded.
Concertdress for the final.

The artistic diectors of OIBF will always be present.
It is possible that other jury members cancel there participation due illness.

Nachwuchspreis/ Youth prize 1000 € (bis 25 Jahre)
Alle Preise werden entweder als Geldpreise, Stipendien oder Engagements vergeben.
All prizes are given either as monetary prizes, scholarships or as contract/engagement prizes.
The decision how a prize will be given takes the jury.

Der Wettbewerb gilt für alle Teilnehmer als Vorsingen für diverse Opernproduktionen des Oper im Berg Festivals und dessen Partner.

of OIBF are listening to all contestants.
